Penelope Scambly Schott’s verse biography A is for Anne: Mistress Hutchinson Disturbs the Commonwealth received the Oregon Book Award for Poetry.  Her most recent book is On Dufur Hill (Turning Point, 2020). Penelope lives in Portland and Dufur, Oregon, where she teaches an annual workshop.
