Dear Friends, Please come to our reading—

Highland Park Public Library
Tuesday, Oct. 6, 7-8:30 p.m.
31 North 5th Ave., Highland Park, NJ

The Cool Women Poets have been performing together since 2000. Known for their sassy readings, they have been called “bold, insightful and provocative” as well as “zesty, protean and prodigious.” The poets read in rounds as an improv group, like a jazz performance—none of them knows in advance what poems anyone else will read, so their readings are spontaneous and different every time.

While each poet is widely published, with her own original voice, Cool Women think of themselves as a group in which the communal enriches the individual. Cool Women at Highland Park Library will be Lois Marie Harrod, Coleen Marks, Gretna Wilkinson, and Maxine Susman.
